With this data protection declaration we would like to inform you about the extent to which your personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”) are being processed.

B. Data Processing

While operating our website we will be processing and disclosing the data by transmitting it.

An EU-US Privacy Shield exists with the Commission as a framework for transmitting data to the USA. In this context the Commission has assured that the guarantees for transmitting data to the USA on the basis of the EU-US Privacy Shield match the data protection standards applying in the EU. Insofar as we transmit data to the USA, we have marked the involvement of our service providers in the EU-US Privacy Shield.

The following lists the affected data, the processing purposes, the legal bases, the recipients and the transmissions to third countries:

a) Log file

We record your visits to our website whereby the following data are processed: the name of the accessed website and the date and time of your visit, the amount of data transmitted and the type of browser along with the version of the operating system you are using, the referrer URL (of the previously visited website), your IP address and the enquiring provider. This information is needed to ensure the security of the website. We will process the data on the basis of our legitimate interests according to Section 6 Subsection 1 f) GDPR. Unless required for investigating or proving actual violations of rights which have become known within the retention period, the log file will be deleted after seven days.

b) Hosting

Within the context of hostings, all data connected with operating our website will be stored. This is necessary to enable our website to operate. We will be processing the data on the basis of our legitimate interests according to Section 6 Subsection 1 f) GDPR. To provide our online presence we use the services of web hosting providers to whom we transmit the data mentioned above.

c) Contact support

Insofar as you wish to contact us, we will process your data (name, contact data, insofar as you have provided these), and your message exclusively to process and handle your enquiry. These data will be processed by us on the basis of Section 6 Subsection 1 b) GDPR or of Section 6 Subsection 1 f) GDPR to handle your enquiry.

d) Job applications

When you contact us through feedme@mybauchgefuehl.com to send us your application for a position in our company, e.g. by E-Mail, your data (e.g. name, E-Mail address, desired job site, insofar as you have provided this information), your message as well as the transferred application records will be processed exclusively for the purpose of processing and handling your job enquiry. The legal basis for processing your data is mainly Section 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act BDSG. According to this act, those data may be processed which are needed for decisions on establishing employment relationships.

If the data are required after a job application procedure has been completed, possibly for taking legal action, the data can be processed to safeguard our interests according to Section 6 Subsection 1 lit. f) GDPR, namely to assert or protect against claims.

e) Newsletter

To keep you up to date on our company and our special offers, we are offering you the service of our newsletter. When you subscribe to our newsletter we will be processing the data you have entered (E-Mail address as well as other voluntary information). We will be sending you the subscribed newsletter after receiving your consent according to Section 6 Subsection 1 a) GDPR.

You can subscribe to the newsletter using the Double-Opt-In procedure. To prevent misuse, after receiving your subscription we will be sending you an E-Mail asking you to confirm your subscription. To verify the subscription process according to the legal requirements, your subscription procedure will be recorded. The time when you subscribed to the newsletter and your confirmation will be stored along with your IP address.

f) Order processing

We will be processing your order data to implement the sales agreement. The data will be exclusively processed on the basis of Section 6 Subsection 1 b) GDPR.

We will be conveying the details of your address to the company commissioned with handling the delivery. Insofar as this is necessary to implement the agreement, we will also be conveying your E-Mail address or your phone number to arrange a delivery date (Avis) to the company commissioned with the delivery of your goods.

We will be transmitting your transaction data (name, order date, payment method, shipping and/ or receipt date, amount and payee, possibly the bank connection or the credit card data) to the payment service provider commissioned with handling the payment.

g) Website analysis and marketing

To enable the use of certain functions we will be using so-called Cookies. These are small data parcels which will be stored on your terminal device and exchanged with other service providers. Several of the Cookies we use will be immediately deleted after your browser has been closed (so-called session Cookies). Other Cookies will remain on your terminal device and enable your browser to be recognised when you next visit our website (persistent Cookies).

You can delete all Cookies stored on your terminal device and set the major Browsers to prevent Cookies from being stored.

In this manner a direct reference to individuals with the stored data is normally excluded. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be transmittd to a server in the USA and truncated there.

On our website we are using Cookies of the Open-Source-Webanalyses software Matomo (formerly Piwik). The dynamic Content will then be transmitted to our website and presented there.

To enhance the attractiveness of our website, we use the external fonts of Google-Fonts.
